Last Monday, the Cubs from blue pack tried their hand at competing with Domino’s at making pizzas. However, they did it with a difference by making and cooking them at Boyd field campsite, on an open fire… in the dark!
The pizza’s were delicious, each were tasted by Akela, with tomato sauce, mozzarella and some basil on a variety of bases from ‘thin-and-crispy’ to ‘deep-pan’. Some of the Cubs even took a fair amount of the ingredients home with them (on their clothes!).
With some fantastic parent helpers who got stuck in (literally) with the dough, we all had a great time.
