Survival Skills 2015

 

Some of our Scouts spent a November weekend under the stars in shelters they made themselves, no tents!! Fortunately the weather was a little bit warmer than previous years although we don’t think any of them would have noticed if it was freezing as they were having a great time learning how to “survive”.

Shelter building, fire lighting, tracking, preparing wild animals (rabbits) for food and many more outdoors skills were passed on by the Scout Leaders over the weekend.

 

The Leaders voted on who the “best” Scout over the weekend was from each Group that attended and Lily was the winner for Shefford. Well done Lily!
