All our Leaders and Executive Committee members are volunteers, our Leaders give up a lot of their free time to ensure everyone form Beavers right up to Explorers enjoy their time in our Scout Group. Unfortunately, because of other commitments we sometimes have to say goodbye to Leaders, this is when a section may struggle to remain open as we do not have the necessary “warranted” leaders to open on a evening.
This is why we are always looking for parents who might like to get more involved with our Scout Group. we currently need to recruit extra Section Leaders, Assistant Leaders and a Group Scout Leader.
If you would like more information on what is involved just contact our Treasurer, Phil Vass
